Barely Alive Bio:
Since 2013, Massachusetts natives Willie Watkins and Matthew Meier have had one goal: dominate the dubstep and bass music world. Currently residing in Long Beach, CA, the two producers met in middle school and grew up together with a shared passion for music. Under the name Barely Alive, the two have been pioneering their genre for nearly 10 years and are well known and respected by listeners and fellow producers alike for their unique cross of heavy bass sound design with 80s-inspired synthwave musicality.
The first new act to sign to Disciple, the two have kept the entire scene on their toes, regularly releasing hard-hitting EPs and singles as well as two full-length albums, and releasing on other labels such as Never Say Die, OWSLA, Monstercat, Mad Decent and Dim Mak. Their collaboration credits include Virtual Riot, 12th Planet, Snails and Getter, and they have remixed for DJ Snake, Excision, Zomboy, Eptic and others. The two are also known for making sample packs that are invaluable to other producers, with all 3 of their current releases hitting #1 on the Splice charts, highlighting their skills in music production.
Touring as a singular box-headed figure, the ever-angry anthropomorphism of the duo’s logo, Barely Alive has been seen on festival stages across the globe, including EDC Las Vegas, Lost Lands, Tomorrowland, Coachella and Rampage, as well as headline shows in nearly every continent including Australia, Europe, South America, Asia, and across the US.

One spooky evening, everything changed for unsuspecting companions, Nathan Davis and Tiago Nunez. A small and mysterious apparition emerged from a shadowy corner before shyly proclaiminng, “Hi, I’m Ghost” and revealing its master plan. The otherworldly entity intended to take the bass scene by storm, all it needed was producers. Since the group’s conception, their signature eerie sound has captivated listeners all over the world. Hi I’m Ghost has focused on the heavier, darker side of dance music with unrelenting releases , groundbreaking takes on bass music staples, as well as fresh and intriguing originals.
Since their debut, Ghost and his spooky companions have continued to grow from breakout tracks such as ‘Spooky Riddim,’ with over 1.2 million streams, and ‘Death Rail’ which not only accumulated 4.8 million streams to date, but was also followed up with its own star-studded remix EP. The group recently completed their first headline “Raveyard Tour,” and have played direct support for Excision and Virtual Riot, while making their mark on festivals such as Bass Canyon, Forbidden Kingdom, Lost Lands, Nocturnal Wonderland, and Paradise Blue.

Believe. A world-class facility in the heart of Atlanta. Originally built in the 1900s, the repurposed church has been transformed into a groundbreaking multi-purpose venue. The interior design ensures unobstructed sightlines to cutting-edge high-end production. Comprised of four separate event spaces arranged over three levels, the venue features two full stages, a mezzanine, and two outdoor terraces with breathtaking views of the Atlanta skyline – the 15,000 sq ft concert hall is a one of a kind destination.
At its core, IRIS focuses on high-quality production coupled with a multi-sensory experience that sets the venue apart from other Atlanta spaces. Concert-goers can have an up-close view of the main stage on the large open dance floor, or enjoy a high-energy VIP experience at any of the elevated VIP tables. Wander between 3 levels to gain a perfect view from above on the Mezzanine and eventually discover the downstairs for an entirely unique and more underground experience.
