Denver-based producer, Laika Beats has been pushing the boundaries in the electronic music realm with his distinctive sound, which has been described as a melodic fusion of hip-hop & electronic music. Guitarist & pianist, Laika’s immersive musical upbringing has proven fundamental in his songwriting and production skills. Heavily influenced by skateboard and graffiti culture, Laika also credits artists such as Three Six Mafia, RL Grime, TNGHT, Pretty Lights, Clams Casino, & Metro Boomin as inspirations in his music production. His distinctive sound is heard through his use of custom synth designs, mesmerizing melodies, rap vocal hooks, and hybrid bass riffs. Laika’s unforgettable live sets are composed of all original music where he uses 4 CDJs to chop, mash, perform melodies, and remix his productions on the fly while taking the crowd on a dynamic adventure of colorful dance music. With an influx of support coming from tastemakers and fans, Laika Beats is poised to make a big splash in the electronic music scene this year.
